The 8-Gored Mermaid Skirt is a modern interpretation of the famous 1890s walking skirt. Petticoat pattern included with provided methods sewing the skirt and petticoat together. Pattern was a 2” wide faced hem with two large jean style pockets. Skirt is pleated in the back to provide more volume in the back like a 1890s walking skirt. Patterns are available in sizes 49-54. Sizing is base on waist measurement in inches. Measurements chart provided in images on listing provided.
This skirt is a full length with a contoured waist band. It also has two very large pockets! You can fit a whole Switch if you want to.

This is a fitted garment at the waist and hips. Choose your size on your closest waist and hip measurements. Keep in mind this pattern is fitted to our straight fitting model. We recommend making a mockup due to how fitted this garment is.
